The International Criminal Court, ICC, has mistakenly disclosed names of witnesses testifying against former Ivorian president Laurent Gbagbo.
Media reports indicate that the technicians failed to put off the microphones on Friday during a meeting and the names were announced unknowingly.
However, names of the civil and military officials who worked under the orders of president Gbagbo have been circulated through social media.
The Former Ivory Coast President was charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity but has denied the charges.
Gbagbo is accused, together with a former youth minister, Charles Ble Goude, 44, of involvement in atrocities that left 3,000 people dead in the aftermath of a disputed 2010 presidential election runoff in the country.
Reports suggest the ICC is trying to minimize the effects of the incident which appears as a blunder.
